A perfect balance of speed, airtime, and incredible drops. Few coasters have such masterful pacing, and even less that also interact so perfectly with the terrain upon which it was built. This ride slams into the brakes only slowing down for a moment to prepare for the iconic second drop. Diving through Thunderbolt down the mountain side is a rush that is second to none, well except maybe the incredible finale. Put this on the short list of rollercoasters you must ride before you die.
So yesterday 5/23/17, I went to Kennywood for a field trip and i held my friends hand. So we got to the middle of the ride and she let go since it was the first time i was on a roller coaster and i opened my eyes and i felt perfectly fine. I think that The Phantom's Revenge was my favorite but so was the exterminator but i LOVED the phantom's revenge!!! :)
One of the best hyper coasters I've been on. Tons of banked turns and extreamly intense! This coaster is cruelty under rated by the gp and golden ticket awards. Coaster enthusiast love it as they should 5 stars!
Best coaster I've ever ridden by far. When I was there it was a station wait, so the line was short, my brother and I sat in the front row. If you ride this ride, RIDE IN THE FRONT, it is so intense. I loved the first 2 drops and I also liked the banked turns and airtime moments. The only bad thing about this ride in my opinion is that the picture on this ride is at the very very end, I think it should be on that 2nd drop. AMAZING RIDE!
This ride is so fun but the first time I went on it I was 6 and I almost peed my pants
