Same remarks... Friendly workers, great prices but poor way for a customer to reach food items. They have items 7 shelves up and no way for a short person to reach any of these items. It's very up setting when shopping.
One of my favorite and most convenient places to buy small goods or some groceries. Often prices are a dollar or more less than standard grocery stores and shops. Those costs can add up for heavy shoppers. Best experienced when not crowded, such as in midday, especially on weekends and holiday time. Self checkout is easy too- No member cards required to scan. Often customer service is too busy to be friendly. That's fine for the money saved. Walmart's a great place to shop when the stores are clean and neat... and popular items are actually in stock. But, it's probably better to shop online, as there is far more product and brand name diversity there compared to the brick and mortar stores.
Christmas time and only 4 lanes opened I waited 40 min to checkout and the lady that was the cashier was chomping on her gum as if it were going to come to life. She kept walking away as she was ringing people up because she was running out of bags and was taking them from other stations. She was also commenting on each item. That is ridiculous when people are backed up like that ring them up and get them moving.Then I finally got to her and she said I out a paper you wait till I find some. She was barely understandable. Poor management is all I can say.
I feel like the notoriety of Walmart does a pretty good job of speaking for itself. The fact that it's open 24 hours and you can pretty much find anything you're looking for are positives.
I waited in the checkout line for 25 minutes. When another cashier opened up nearby, she didn't even offer for the next in line to come over. People who were in line BEHIND me went and got in her line and were out before I was. The cashier I had was SO slow.
